Recovery is for Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community

Every September, National Recovery Month celebrates people in recovery from substance use and recognizes the dedicated workers who provide services to this community. Please join Henrico Area Mental Health & Developmental Services for our scheduled events to raise awareness, encourage those in need, and celebrate recovery!

All events are free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. No RSVP required.

Community members (18+) are welcome to participate. No RSVP needed. You will be asked to sign a consent form when you arrive.

AcuWellness is a 5-needle protocol which is a specialized form of acupuncture. It uses 5 thin, sterile, single use needles placed on different points to each outer ear. The needles are generally left in place for 35 to 45 minutes. This protocol helps ease stress, improve balance, clarity, relaxation, and more.
